It's not just restaurants.

I have taken to wearing hearing protectors to church. I get bright blue, or phosphorescent orange, just so people know.

Some people just don't think.

Thanks to MADD, Ontario has a DUI limit of 0.05. so that means that I can no longer have a drink in your restaurant. If I can't talk to the person who came with me, I sure as E36 M3 don't have any reason to be in your establishment.

I still don't understand why everything has to be so loud when I'm out and about. My stereo at home is quite loud, and it never really gets a workout. Sure, I'm comparing home audio with a band setup, but jeez, don't understand loud music in public spaces, save for an actual concert. It's a shame that most of these cover bands think they're putting on a big show, when all they really have is a 50 seat bar or 100 seat restaurant.

Restaurants playing rock bands invariably try to make your ears bleed. Jazz or classical, and you can actually talk.
