Had to have one of my babies euthanized this weekend, he was in a lot of pain with liver and pancreatic problems. I know any of you guys who've loved an animal will know how gutted it leaves you. His partner, the world's biggest glutton, isn't really interested in anything other than cuddling and has barely left my side all weekend. Goodspeed Spidey.
Harley and I send our condolences.

So sorry to hear that, Leslie. We had to do the same with one of our fur kids last week. We knew it was coming, just not exactly then. My sincere condolences.

Just went through this a few months ago, but it feels like last week. I know how you feel and I'm sure you made the right decision. Our time with them is just too short. RIP Spidey.
One of the hardest things I ever did was taking my cat to be euthanized.

Several years ago it became necessary to put down my Sadie. 70 pounds of brown furry love. Her health just went down too quickly. I'm a big, tough, guy. Bawled like a baby when the time came and not ashamed to admit it. So, BTDT and offer my most sincere condolences.

With all the technology we've developed towards useless E36 M3, why the hell can't we find a way to let our fur babies live longer?
so so sorry for your loss … over the yrs I've had to do this 4 or 5 times … it's never easy … help the one you have left … eventually you both will be able to move on … keep the memory in a special place in your mind … they're with us just a short time,

Lost one of my dogs earlier this month, still not adjusted to it. I fully understand and wish you healing and comfort.
My condolences to you and your other furry friend.

Sorry for your loss.
My wife is a horse vet and usually my wife's office sends her out to euthanize but this time she needed help. But when her cat of 15 years need to be put to sleep, she called a coworker to help. Her coworker is a vet, too, and she brought her husband who was yet another vet. It took all three of them to 'help' her kitty. I hid in the other room. Usually my wife's office sends her out to euthanize, but this time she needed help.
Here's a shot of our latest kitty, Nitro.
Shadow, Sunny, and I are very sorry to hear it.

I'm very sorry to hear this, and my sincere condolences go out to you. I know what you're going through and know the pain you're feeling. Although it's not the same as losing a human family member, I know the pain felt losing a beloved pet is nearly the same. My wife and I have discussed this often. We've both lost parents and siblings, but the pain of having to put down our dog Roger a few years ago was nearly equally gut wrenching. But fortunately the good memories will last forever.
Annie, Luke, and I send our condolences
we just went through this with my Father's cat a month ago. Even though you know they will not be in any more pain, it's still one of the hardest things you can do.
All I can do is offer hugs
Sorry to hear about your little buddy. It's never easy to lose a pet.
I'm sorry for you loss. I had to take my cat, Ed (Edelbrock) in for his final 'tune-up' a few years ago. Sucks.
When I read this my memory banks activated and all the faces and wonderful experiences I've had with my buddies came to mind, as well as the heart break. My heart goes out to you. It always helps me to appreciate the fact that they spent their lives with me.

Thanks guys. This one was really hard - he had the biggest personality and I always looked forward to seeing him when I came home.
Here's our meezer. Her name was Clovis. We had just brought her home from the hospital and though she was very sick with terminal cancer, she was happy to be home. We put her down later that day. That's a hard, hard choice to make. My wife and I were trying unsuccessfully to have children and this eight year old cat had become our child. I know exactly what you're saying. Siamese have such big personalities, when they go, they leave a lasting void. So sorry for your loss.
Pancreas and liver issues, I can relate . Sorry for your loss, you made the tough decision, but the correct one, I wouldn't wish this pain upon any living creature.
