I'm about to buy some assorted sandpaper for wood working. I need some with good longevity and triple quadruple backflip pancake stack awesome if it's made in the USA.

Looks like 3M sandpaper is manufactured in Minnesota. I have had good luck using it.
3M makes a lot in North America (US and Canada). There is also a company called Ali Industries in OH that has a Gator name that is sold at the box stores. I've been there, the manufacturing is done in OH.
I play volleyball with a guy here in MA that has his own sandpaper company. I will talk with him later tonight actually, and get some info.
