I admit I didn't read the article you linked to, but I had previously read another article about it.
If one could get a Nobel prize and the $1.4 Million for writing about water skiing squirrels then sign me up!
I am not a economist by trade, but it seems like his whole point is globalization is good if you can dominate the market and if you cannot then put trade barriers up to protect your fledgling industries until they become competitive.
So I guess it's time we kicked Honda, Toyota, etc. out of this country to let GM, Ford, and Chrysler sell some cars.
