Just ordered a colibri Maui. I'll give it a try and see how she does. I chose it over the Jet because it has a clear tank so I can see when its getting low. Nothing sucks more than being somewhere away from butane when you suddenly realize you're out.

Yes, but surprisingly not as reliable as you would think in a 1967 Pontiac with 270k on it. I always have the problem of those holding on to ash and tobacco. Then there was that one that caused a dash fire in another car. Then there was another one that liked to pop the whole way out onto the floor and roll under the seat. That's always a hoot trying to retrieve that at 70 mph.
Those holes are for charging things. The lighter part gets put in a box in the garage.

When I smoked, it was a bic. Or the little bemzomatic soldering iron I had. Turns out it makes a killer lighter without the tip attached, and the ceramic whatever it is that directs the flame will last forever.
Last month at my birthday party, we were sitting on the patio trying to light the candles. There was a moderate wind, enough so that the matches weren't working out very well, so I resorted to this:

This absolutely in no way reflects on you, but my Colibri came in the mail last monday. It died Tuesday. Worked great for half a pack and now it won't light. No spark.

This is a Ronson butane, still under 5 dollars and will light smoking materials on a chairlift at 10,000 feet and solder wire in a pinch. Do recommend.

E36 M3 luck is highly probable. No battery - its one of those click piezo sparkers. Its sparking, but super weak. Probably worked for about 20 clicks.
