I can't speak to everyone or everywhere, but around here they tend to be highly caffeinated gals in their early 20s who don't give a hoot. 15-20 over at all times, lights are suggestions, and no body panels are unmarked. Definitely worth a chuckle.

I'm from up in the Orange, and live in the Purple. My wife is from the purple. I've also been all over both areas.
It holds up well enough as a generalized concept that it made me laugh, but it's obviously not actually true.
