Did this for a family trip once. All just for the kid to win his week long baseball tourney in San Diego. With children, this is 16 hours minimum. Never left the state. California is like its own country, mostly full of idiots.
Nice that you are here
Not entirely sure what that means. I moved to SoCal a while back.
It means it sounds like you will fit right in.
Welcome from one idiot to another.

I have posted this in discords and had to explain it. I still need to buy the 5 book trilogy but I have both versions of the 'movie' (the modern one and the episodic bbc program)

If you read the history of it, he blew all his book deal money, screwed around, missed deadlines and was forced to to finish by publishers.
The first book is excellent. The rest are like a high school writing assignment done at the last minute.
In reply to ShawnG :
They were writing the script for the second series of the radio play as it was being recorded. I just finished reading the HHGG book by Neil Gaiman, actually.

I read the same book but it was a few years ago.
Douglas Adams sounds like a bit of a human train wreck to be honest.

The first book ended where it did because the publisher literally just said, send what you have right now
