I had a 2005 for a while. It agree.

I just gave away half a truck bed of scrap metal because I couldn't find the time to haul it myself and it was pissing me off.

I always expected the knowledge of those guys to be way more than it was. So, my minor confession thread is that I now think we're all way better at this than we think.

Though working with TunaDad always humbles me. He's way better at everything car related. That said, though, I could probably click off a better lap time on a roadcourse, especially with a car with no brakes, iffy engine, rattling bushings and the like.

This is true. I'm no expert, but I rehabbed an emgine. Timing chain which I've never done. Clutch which I've never done. Pulled and replaced and engine all by myself.

Since this is the confession thread, I will continue mine by saying that the thing I hated the most was the engine sounds.

The other thread about tv makes me confess: I haven't had cable/dish/antenna for 14 years. I have no idea what the hell most of y'all are talking about.

6-7 years for me. I also don't miss it One. Little. Bit.

Nor do I. I begrudgingly got Netflix. Kind of like some of the stuff, but wouldn't miss it much. Id miss radio more.

Somehow, I'm thinking this is a good idea:

What would I do with it? I have no idea.

Why would I buy a limo? Because who doesn't want a white, velour whale to drive themselves around in?

I told my wife I'm using Woodford Reserve to make the pain of my freshly installed temporary crown / root canal not hurt as much. It didn't hurt that much to start with.

We had an 01 legacy and loved it. This one just feels cheap and flimsy compared to it.

I have zero interest in the new miata.
But I'm actively trying to get out of answer ownership, so clearly have my priorities all wrong.

When I'm feeling old I pull up Molly Hatchet's Gator Country on the computer and all of a sudden it's 1981 and I'm over at my buddies having a beer and a smoke with my flannel shirt and boots on and all is good.

I really can't stand the Dave Matthews Band. I bear no ill will towards Mr. Matthews himself, as I'm sure he's a great guy, but I would never voluntarily listen to his music.

I spent the better part of the day making a rolling base for my table saw. And it sucks. I have forgotten how to do cabinetry.

What's the saddest part of my night?

A)I've been at work since 6am and am just taking a meal break at 21:00

B)I have an oldies station on in my truck

C)Paula Abdul counts as oldies

D)Without thinking I turned up the radio and am belting out "Straight Up" with the windows down loud enough for pedestrians to notice.

It's also safe to guess that I am the oldest person in the East Village.

You just described every day at my work. Especially Paula Abdul.
