It should work out fine provided you put everything back where you found it. Obviously doesn't always work according to the garage clean up thread.

We have a Habitat for Humanity Re-Store near our house. It's a great place for used cabinets and countertops.

That's how I built my 1st bench. Old cabinet and some OSB. Worked great for years.

I have so got to get out in my garage and do some modifications. It's still lit by a single incandescent bulb despite the 8' twin-tube HO fluorescent fixture that's been sitting on top of my project car for 3+ years. Plus, I have a bunch of old wall cabinets in my basement waiting to be hung in the garage.

Busy at work and lazy in nature is a bad combination.
