Do they have the entire DVD collection of Miami Vice?

The wierdest part is no one likes the color including the people paying me. Their realtor just told them that making the walls white will make people fall in love with it and pay more for it because neutral colors are best.

I tried to explain that people that buy houses aren't a different form of human and if no one polled thought this was a good color chances are they won't either. Also it doesn't get much more neutral than berkeleying gray.

All attempts at reality have been rebuffed, I'll just sit here in the corner painting said corner white and collecting money

Words cannot describe my seething hatred for aftermarket alarm systems. When I bought my Tahoe PPV, someone had previously installed an old Autopage keyless entry/alarm system. Of course by the time I was the owner, the keyless entry didn't function. But alarm did. Every time I opened the door with the key, the siren would go off, the dome lights and the parking lights would flash. Well today I made it a mission to rip every berkeleying wire out for the system. The more I pulled out, the more splices I found. I eventually found every single wire and either cut it or unplugged it from the T-splices.

Good riddance!

It wasn't too bad at all. I did it this morning. It was half as difficult as the other half of that rant which was putting a new blower motor resistor in the suburban. I couldn't find anything they ate other than the filter itself.

My wife was telling me that the latest style is to dress you and your kids all in the same monochrome outfits.  But it is like white, light gray, or light beige.

Gag me with a spoon.

I thought it couldn't get any worse then the gradient scale of silver/grey plus suv red that seems to be the only color palette in existence now.  Apparently that is just to darn complex.

I have never ever seen a car alarm that didn't berk up the car it was installed - or  hacked - in.

Plus there is nothing more berking useless than a car alarm to begin with, because when one goes off, nobody ever does anything except ignore it or else cuss the unknown idiot whose car alarm is going off.

It's one of those things that were super trendy to have, for no apparent reason.

I had not factored in the possibility of pocket swarf puncturing the screen.

There was a shop that opened up near my work that installed lift kits, car alarms, remote starts, and sound systems. It was a steady stream of mangled suspension and driveline parts, burnt-up wiring, and cooked modules into our dealership.

Because the builder that was supposed to be building the new rental cottage has apparently decided to ghost us- which is not entirely unwelcome because we had decided that he was not going to be able to deliver on, well, anything- The Dancer decided that instead of using the coupon from At Home they send each year for her birthday to pick up decor for the not-even-started-at-all cottage she wanted to redo the back porch so we might actually start using it. I don't think this was a wholly bad idea- I just don't see how spending $600 on new furniture, plants, and decor for it is worth it when the majority of what made it look better was cleaning up the porch itself and getting the crap that had accumulated on it either thrown away or relocated to where it made more sense to be.

Also, after spending a fair bit of time prepping the parts of the yard that got torn up last summer when I did the excavating to put in the gravel pad for the hot tub and putting down grass see so there weren't so many mud pits- it's rained for the last day and a half and has likely ruined a good bit of what I put down.

Half of my team is out today. Basically all of the people that would know this answer. They told me to that "Bill Thomas" (not the real name, but the real name is 2 first names) was the person to reach out to. I've never interacted with this person before, but figured, I'd be able to find them with the name, using our company directory.

We have at this company the following:

  • 3 people named "Bill Thomas"
  • 2 people named "William Thomas"
  • 4 people named "Thomas Williams"
  • 2 people named "Thomas William"

Out of those 11 people, 6 of them work in the department that I'm trying to reach. WTF? And our email system shows you as "Last name, First name", so it is very believeable that someone got the name backwards.

Who the berkeley is the right person?

Why the hell is it so hard to find pans that are flat on the bottom inside and out?

This last one I bought looks awfully flat, put it on the flat top and it comes to a berkeleying point shop it wobbles the whole time.

I'm taking a level to the store with me next time, only because it's cheaper than buying a knee mill.

I am likely going to have to fab large pieces of gas tank if I want a gas tank for my Z in the next few months, as any place that sells them requires a core. And the place that sells them new for $700 is out of stock for my 2 year design..

Really color matching a jail cell is probably a grand old time compared to this, but both rate far below a root canal on the scale of happiness

First rule of house flipping is paint gray walls with white ceilings and add flat crown molding in eggshell white. Its hilarious they all look the same on Redfin. But it makes tiny houses fell bigger and cleaner. Better then the single color wall nonsense that was going around a few years back.
