U-571 is not my favorite sumarine movie.
Hobbies!
So much fun!
Seriously considering getting an additional job just to avoid having days off.
We got our daughter lego dimensions for Christmas. Im having difficulty figuring it out let alone my 7 year old who has never really played video games. Im going to have to play it a while through to be able to help her, and then figure out how to restart the whole thing.

How im figuring it out after the Christmas play tonight when shes in bed.
SWMBO says we can't go to a rock n roll show after a kick ass company dinner, with people we don't get to see often. She's tried and it's snowing.
She goes shopping, instead. I'm typing this in a Wal-Marx parking lot.
DAFUQ?
What should have been a simple pad and rotor slap turned into 4 calipers, pads, rotors, a two day wait for parts, and a full system flush. berkeley.

DW and I have been playing it for a year. If you have questions, I can help you out. Just ask. You will need to take multiple passes through every level as you add characters and abilities.
Despite a lifetime of being overweight and careless I have never had a bit of back pain. Today I twisted wrong pulling a batch of cookies out of the oven and saw stars. I feel like a muscle on my right side under my shoulder was poked with a knife. Of all the ways cookies could ruin me this is not how I pictured it going wrong.
I find if you can't laugh at yourself, you just don't get the joke. Hope your back feels better soon Wall-e. I find a hot soak with epsom salts does wonders when it feels like an ice pick is lodged behind my neck.
So i finally broke down and bought an xbone. And fallout 4.
Got it all hooked up, redid the whole av system, etc.
Turned it on to play it, and an hour later the damn thing is still updating. Really???
In reply to Dusterbd13:
It NEEDS a hard line internet connection. Wi-Fi is just there for decoration. And yes, fallout 4 has a rather substantial download. Really sucks with this console generation, especially for how much games cost now.

tweaking your back is never done doing something stupid. It's not from pushing your car, picking up weights, or reaching for that box on too high a shelf, it's always from something stupid, like reaching down to tie your shoes.
Hope you feel better soon and get back (sorry) to your old self soon

No real way to hardline it. Opposite end of the house from the hardline.
And i still haven't gotten past the initial system update, or even put the game disc in.
Not as excited as i was when i started on this at 7....

I went through it. When I bought mine, I got a free download of Forza 6. took two days over wifi before I could play, then playing online was just terrible.
There's a vent, a loose carpet, something you can find to run a cable from the router, do it. I wound up buying a 50ft cable at Home Depot for like 25 bucks and forced it through the house, well through a step and under the carpet and behind stuff, but needing to keep it from a curious toddler presented its own challenge. I also moved the router in the process so I could plugin the TV as well.
I think I still have your address, I could even send you down my cat5 plug making set that I've never used successfully.
Could check out a signal amplifier, or powerline nextworking.. Alternatives to running a cat5 with supposedly positive results. I don't know much about those though.
I have a hardline running from the upstairs east corner of my house too the downstairs west corner so my blue ray/netflix player works. If theres a will theres a way! My signal is terrible for wifi in my living room.
My rant for the day is the cost of some of the little stupid stuff my kids want for christmas. I figured stocking stuffers wouldnt hurt as bad as the big presents!
In reply to RevRico:
Ill stare at the crawlspace for a while this week and see if theres a way to run one. Hardwood floors make it much harder than it should be.
In reply to Dusterbd13:
Dude, crawlspace makes running cabling SOOO easy! Slab or finished basement is much harder. Don't drill through hardwood, cut into drywall and drill through sill plate in wall. Cover hole with plate. Easy.
Obligatory rant. Got to work early to go over to other site for mandatory training. Drove across town to find it had been cancelled. Stupid berkeleyers, if you're going to have mandatory training and 50 people are signed up you need to have a backup plan in case the instructor calls in sick.

Worst time I ever hurt my back was washing the car. I was moving the brush across the trunk lid, and then I was sitting in a puddle, trying not to scream.

True for more and more things these days...if it doesn't move, wire it up I always say. Oh the rants I could get into on that topic...
I hate the smell of HF and the people there rival 'The People of Wal-Mart', clerks included. Their card scanners likely came from the same place as their merch as they all turned into hammers this morning. 20 minutes to check out one item, which will also become a hammer.
TSC and Rural King sell some cheap goods too but overall they smell like... well, a farm store, to be expected but not that bad. Lowe's and HD are not offensive at all, I could hang out there all day.
Wonder if the brass at HF ever considered the olfactory aspect at their stores?
Popcorn ala RK as a cover scent maybe?
