Seems legit, I mean, as long as you're spoiling her, too.

David, you know people that have sleep disorders; the first question they ask is Do you watch TV in bed?  Do you eat in bed?  I'm just throwing it out there to save you thousands in doggie psychosis therapy.  laugh

Edit:  Because she said something, SWMBO is not pampered enough.  YMMV.

Would you believe that we only have one (1) TV in the entire house? Always been that way. I hardly watch it. My wife watches a tiny bit.

But last Thursday, the dog got her teeths cleaned. She came home groggy and, as they warned us, wouldn’t have an appetite for a day or so.

Now add in the fact that my wife was at Disney all weekend. Can you say sad puppy who’s not interested in food? So, yeah, I pampered her. :)

I was wondering why everyone I know is having their dog's teeth cleaned, like, now. Did this just start being recommended commonly?

Teeth cleaning isn't new and it depends on the dog.  (like people).  Eat crunchy, chewy stuff and your gums get tougher, live on oatmeal not so much abrasion.

Our couch dog.

I can relate to the OP.  For about 14 years I fed the family dog with a spoon.  Mrs Frog just shook her head.  Dog completely understood.

The single worst part about having a dog.

When my dad was growing up, his elderly great-uncle lived with him for a while. He was either German or Austrian, and he'd feed Dad's Dauschaund bites of meat, 1x1, directly from his fork.

Many vets offer discounted dental cleanings this time of year to drum up work. It's when we generally get ours done.

I'll see your couch dog and raise you two.😜

Went to the dentist today.  They have a Pet CollectiveTV on the Roku channel.  (new to me).

Do not make it a screensaver, you won't get anything done.

Same here. Wait, my fiance has a TV in her home office. Our bedroom does not.
