I was setting up for a long telephoto shot of a still subject and it decided to move.
This is an old, hazy Konica Hexanon 52mm lens, fun to play with.
I'm fascinated, yet frustrated with my cheap 500mm mirror lens - sharp as a soup spoon at any distance.

I took that same legacy 52mm 1.8 lens out in the light rain this evening around the yard. Daffodil, Apple, and Dogwood:
Here is a alligator lizard I found in the front yard. Had no interest in moving, so I could get very close (about 6 inches).
Here is a regrowing burnt hillside from the big fires last year. Just on the other side of the hill to the right of this shot is where Kobe's helicopter went into the hillside.
I saw this guy crawling on my C10 yesterday. I hadn't remembered seeing one since I was a kid but my said they're everywhere, oh well.
I've got a few, but here's one to start. That's my driveway.
