Skylines are pretty reasonable over there too, hmmm...

I would have one in a second if they were, what, $5.5k-ish?
I'd have to go with the Delta Integrale too. I know some of those parts could be hard to obtain. I wouldn't let that stop me though.

Roughly, yes. Probably a bit less (around $5k).

I've got one - some parts are a PITA to get so it's not usable as a daily driver. 16Vs are somewhat better catered for but a lot of the parts aren't available from Lancia anymore. Mind you, some parts that the Lancia dealer I visited in Switzerland said would take 2-3 weeks to get (NLA from Lancia, surprise) took me 2 days to get from a specialist here in the UK.

They're a big ol' bus compared to an FD, though. Not that they're a bad car or anything, though.
You guys would be astonished how many times I've seen a clean E30 wagon going for a 3-digit price tag over here. I'm just saying.

I want it bad

Es tut mir leid.
It's not quite 25 years old, but it will be soon....I think the Opel Calibra is a very cool car to import. AWD, turbo I4 2.0, 2 door coupe. I'd rock the stock powertrain as long as it lasted, when it gave up I'd probably put a turbo ecotec up front and my electric motor in the back.
How about an E30 "touring" (aka wagon)? I think you could get those in Canuckistan also, but it might be something to keep your eyes peeled as they were probably a lot more popular there than over here.

Something else that's has come to mind
Thing's I'll be able to do over there,
Le Mans!!!
F1 Races
Drive the 'Ring
Drive The Stelvio Pass
What else comes to mind for you folks?
Sieben Steinhäuser ("seven stone homes")Normandy
Verdun
Bastone
Waterloo
Stuttgart
Trier
That is all I can think of right now.
I did think of one more thing. When we wre living there my Dad and I took a long weekend, got a map from the ADAC that showed all of the Castle ruins in Germany and went hunting. We saw some really cool stuff, there was one ruin that had an old radio antenna in it which for a WWII nut like me was very cool.

Most of the Calibras are FWD, IIRC. It's only the turbo ones that are AWD (there's your turbo Ecotec right there). They never seemed to grab people like the Opel Mantas did so they're fairly cheap but often abused.

Trackday at Spa if they don't close it down again, I think they occasionally run trackdays at the Hockenheimring as well.
If you're driving to the Stelvio, drop me a line. My mum has a very small bed & breakfast in Switzerland not too far from the Stelvio.
Manufacturers' Factory/museum tours! BMW Munich for one...
Although it's not neccessarily car related, I would make sure I saw Berlin. Is the Avus race track still around? (Think of a very high banked paperclip IIRC) EDIT: Well, I guess it isn't but... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AVUS
As far as cars, I'd look for the aforementioned Cossie Mercedes, a Lancia, or an Audi coupe quattro. As far as a vehicle to take and sell, +1 to the Harley idea. In fact if you go thru BAF, they had the military sales guy/booth there at AAFES the last time I went thru. You could probably have it delivered to Germany and just pick it up at your next duty station. And for things to, it's Europe man, get out there, the train will get you anywhere. I'd hit a WRC event, the 'ring, Paris, ski the alps (Garmisch is incredibly cheap for the military), battlefields are everwhere, definitely do Munich, and maybe a bit of a downer, but the day I spent at Dachau will live with me forever.
