Also, berkeley yeah badminton. Those guys go hard.
I'm watching a basketball game, which I never watch, but it's Canada vs Greece. I also get CBC, so if I don't like what NBC is showing I have a choice.
Edit: We won....

When I had cable tv (back when that was a thing) here on the shores of Lake Erie, we always got Windsor 9, CBC via cable. I do remember it being a far superior way to watch the Olympics
CBC is streaming both live events (surfing is on now) and primetime recaps. You just need a VPN to make it think you're in Canada.

Gojira opened. That makes up for some of it. I'll take a ceremonial beheading and a bunch of blood red streamers.
Do people really not like Celine Dion or am I missing some joke? This punk rocker has no problem appreciating greatness from other genres.

I thought she was great. The only issue I had was too many N Americans when French would be more appropriate.
I watched the woman from France win the mountain bike race with a commanding lead of several minutes. If it was me I would have done a wheelie over the finish line.
The woman from the US came in second for the silver.

That was far from the most problematic part of the opening ceremony.
What's with the stars?
Last night they were going to check in with Snoop Dog to see how his day went.
Kevin Hart this morning is reviewing some event.
Where the hell is Bart Starr and Dorothy Hamill? Those are the stars I need.

Snoop is hilariously funny to watch narrate the events, IMO. I'd watch that all day.

If you lived in Canada in the 90s to late 2000s. You were forced to listen to her by the government several times a day.
When Titanic came out, she was all you heard on terrestrial radio.
I have nothing against her personally, I've just heard enough of her music to last the rest of my life.

Having been a teenager during the Titanic era, and being attracted to the ladies, Celine Dion was compulsory whether or not you wanted to.
I still haven't watched that movie.
