First I've heard of it.  185hp, 1300cc in a 900lb car.  Looks like fun but pricey.

I've been following them since ~'04/'05, or so

they just took 2nd in Unlimited, and 9th overall at PikesPeak w/ an EV version of their D2 chassis...

you can read a bunch of the development stuff at: dpcars.net

They looked good on course. My wife loved it. That one was a full EV.

Make sure to go back thru the 'Past' archives as well.

Dennis is a nice guy. Smart.  I had lunch with him in Portland back in 06 when he was  getting started in earnest.

I was following his blog back when he was building the first car, it's quite the machine.

Another one of his latest is a customer build - a Lotus Europa bolted to a Palotov chassis with Duratec power. Called a D47, my pants definitely got tighter after viewing that onesmiley

The blog was fun to read back when he was just leasing cars and completing track days with them with really accurate data logging. Stuff like why a M5 was faster around the track than the lotus Elise, etc... Then it got into the car builds and was super tech filled and incredibly informative but a different kind of fun to read.
