I'm disappointed that they didn't name the first model a flying car, the goose. It can fly, harasses everyone on land, hangs out in likeminded social circles, is pretty much a giant shiny happy person, and if keeping with TopGun, the pilot is likely to die.

They intend to use them as an urban taxi service platform. I like the idea of sky-taxis and autonomous aircraft that have provision for human intervention. My biggest reservation about the concept is that the lower level airspace around major urban areas can already be dangerously congested. Adding in a fleet of small aircraft, carrying passengers that are trying to beat ground traffic, may be a bit optimistic.
