Unloosen has gotten so bad it's recognized by Merriam-Webster. My buddy's in-laws all use it. When we're together I use "untighten" to mean tighten to get under his skin.

what's funny is that grammatically correct is a redundancy ...

something is either grammatical or ungrammatical ...

grammatical = correct ... so grammatically correct is the same as saying PIN number ( personal identification number number)
