in forza2 we made specMinis. It was a fun car to race and most of the time the racing was really close (like pumper to pumper close for 3 -4 of us. Theres always the one guy who checks out and laps the field but most of use were pretty equal. :)
My Xbox nick is the same as it is here. I just picked up FIII last night, was trying to not buy any cars, but I hit level 4 or 5 and all I had was tiny-ass Euro hatches. I bought a foxbody, and was happy.
THough I will say, if they're gonna throw events on a calendar, than car mods should take time to do. If you're gonna motorswap your brand new VW Scirroco to ditch the 2.0 for a 3.6L VR6, that car should be down a week.
I would be up for a Spec Racer GRM series on XBL. Lets get this stuff started. Who wants to help me?
(BTW, I just bought a Risi Competizione F430 with GRM down the side of it in the auction house...who sold it to me?)
My tag is Colonel Tommy. Still figuring out the tuning stuff. I'm slow but pretty clean - slowly picking up the pace as the tuning gets better (unless there's gamerz on that use me as their brakes). Usually D class with a Mk II vw gti. Also have a C class 914 that desperately needs wider rubber and box flares.
Someone should bring Race Wars to GRMland! I used to do it for another forum. Someone sets up some rules (Like a street modified class, FWD only, street tires, max weight and HP etc), people build cars. Then we race over 4 weekends (usually on saturday), 4 tracks a nights. 1st place in a race gets 8 points, etc etc. It's a lot of fun.

I'd love something like that, but my schedule gets in the way. I work 2nd shift, and only have every 5th weekend off. I actually built a car for dirtybird222's vintage series, but never had the chance to run with you guys. I already have to burn vacation time for my autocrosses, and as much as I love y'all, I ain't taking any for a "virtual" Championship.
