Polarized how? No one I know is an either/or person. They are only given 2 real choices. Red or Blue. The majority of people pick the one that more aligned to them but they are forced to eat the whole plate whether they agree with all of it or not. People are not polarized. The choice is. AM Radio is. I am not.

And this is what I don't like about our society's perception of politics.

Until more people realize they don't have to vote for Red or Blue, Red and Blue will be the only two choices that have a fighting chance.

That's the problem. The two major parties are entrenched similar to the way any big corporation becomes a 'too big to fail' juggernaut. The upstarts get squashed like insects.
