This 2001 Corvette base model came out of the factory with the LS1 Zo6 manifold increasing the hp to 385.The modifications are as follows: 1.Added full new Billy Goat exhaust with long tube headers and fast flow catalytic converters. 2.Installed 4 bosh new censers for the exhaust. 3.Installed a velocity stack inside the throttle to create thicker air turbulence. 4.Installed a straight coupler to the intake with a titanium wide mouth air flow system attached with two high flow racing filters. According to the modifications performed on the corvette, and manufacture suggested increase in horsepower it should be around the 700hp mark. Unfortunately, I have not had this car Dyno tested yet.

What a hot mess that one is. Just another example of how beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Here is just one edit I would make to the ad: "...horsepower it should be around the 700hp mark. Unfortunately, I have not had this car Dyno tested yet, but I went ahead and plastered 700HP stickers all over the car anyway."

One day, when I'm old, rich, and bored I'm going to go around offering free dyno tests to ricers. The looks on their faces when they see their actual numbers will make it all worthwhile.

We stopped dyno testing cars for other people after The ITR Incident. It was modified and super strong! This thing came on the dyno and performed very poorly. We did a few runs and it just got worse and worse, the car was obviously sick. Of course, the owner says we're idiots because we have no idea what we're doing and this car has to be making X horsepower. Bad feelings all around and we got badmouthed all over town.
Later, they tore the engine down and found out it had been rebuilt with low compression pistons and about 200 other things wrong with it. Well, yeah, WE knew that. But did they ever apologize? Nope, and we never did another dyno run for a third party.
Then there was the Honda that ran better every time we disconnected one more of the aftermarket boxes under the hood.

Idaho plates, I'm shocked. Truly.

And even better TWO electrical turbos! That's good for WAY more than the 700hp they say!
In reply to turboswede:
Yep, Canyon County plates. That is in southwest Idaho AKA desert meth country.
I also noticed that the Durango has super awesome JDM-spec Altezza tail lights. I bet that has 700hp too

1972 Lexus Midget.
1972.
Lexus.
Midget.
From the ad: The front of the car is a Lexus and the engine of the car is a quad ohc.
It's not exactly delusional - but I have no idea what is going on here, and the ad raises more questions than it answers.
He took a lexus drivetrain and mounted it in the rear of an MG midget chassis. You can still see the MG bits if you look closely enough, and the much-wider rear track from the Lexus bits.
Weirdly awesome and terrible, in my book.
Probably the scariest thing to drive this side of the Berzerkeley.
'Title in hand.' How the hell would you title something like that? More to the point, why? Must be a lotta acid down there, man.
Hey, go easy on the Berzerkeley. It's still on my back porch and might get its feelings hurt.
Not craigslist but just as delusional on facebook. Selling as just a cracked case dont know about inside, It should be fine. Kinda funny considering it looks like something tried to get out like an alien from a stomach. $250

Crackhead said: 1996 Geo Metro. New tires, new windshield, 182k, drives great, is my daily driver. Just bought a newer car. It's basic transportation with excellent gas mileage. 2 door 5 speed with new clutch and resurfaced flywheel within the past year. New dashmat cover, good stereo, clean title in my name. Insurance is cheap as well - it has both driver and passenger air bags. Emissions passed in June of 2014, so it's good until 2016. Driving it every day, runs great on the cheaper 87 octane, and far less cost than a Prius!
$2500! That looks like a $500 Metro to me?
Can I play too! - Most people up here don't use Craigslist they use kijiji
2004 Subaru STi - no motor $8500 - down from $9500. Oh and it has some rust too!

I forgot to post the link to a CL ad from yesterday that I went to go see. Ad was for a 1987 Ford Mustang 5.0 LX. Runs and drives. $2k. There was one problem. Engine is gone! WTF!!!! I told the guy that the ad is misleading since it says runs and drives. He in his defense said it did on Saturday and that someone came by and only wanted the motor which the seller did sell. Price for motor? $150. WTF again! So I asked him what the new price was for the whole car. Still $2k. WTF!? I was outta there.
