Not a bad price on the car, though. I wonder how bad the rust is.

Not too delusional though the price is likely high given the condition- but pretty funny given the description and accompanying picture...
1994 Ford Festiva water damage
I have a 1994 Ford Festiva that I am needing to sale. The car used to run and drive great but I was out late one night with a bunch of buddies and was bet I wouldn't jump it in my lake. Needless to say the car stayed underwater for a full day. The next day I pulled it out and it has been sitting for the last two months. I haven't messed with it since so I'm guessing the motor is bad. If someone could use this for parts or to fix back up give me a call. I still have a clean title as well.
There is a dodge in there somewhere
Peekabo.. I see you..

I wonder if there's something about those cars that inherently makes them susceptible to this. We did this exact thing to my buddy's when i was young.

$5,700 for a 1990 Miata with a salvage title, and it hasn't run in 20 years.

Wow ... and a "history of flood damage" to boot! Sounds like the bargain of the century, this.

That conquest is sweet and I think the price is good. I don't like the steering wheel but that's easy to change.
Agreed the Conquest doesn't meet the "delusional" criteria. I posted it only because it's a cool car that you don't often see for sale in that condition.
Don't forget, there's a " Craigslist Lust of the Day" thread for awesome stuff like that available as well.
I know it's supposed to be Craigslist finds, but I figured this one deserved being posted as well...
1988 Custom(?) Corvette- $85,000
No explanation as to why it costs around 5-10 times what you'd expect it to. Don't deny it looks good- I like the body kit- but still... $85k???

I would pay $8,500 for that.

Vaselin-o-scope. A favorite of hard core Craigslisters.

I mean, technically the roof and rear body panel are almost all original paint and rust. Only that one small patch of gray isn't. But I thought between the green and the rust that I was looking at Camo first.
He's back!! The price is now a much more reasonable $5,200.
I have to admit, it is among the cleaner Miata's I've ever seen... But flood damage, salvage title, and its been sitting for 20 years. Nope not gonna happen kthanxbye

That actually looks interesting.
For my submission: Probably the nicest looking Saab c900...but $20K????
