Powernation not on this morning?

I enjoy watching it. And it was no where to be found. I remember last year there was some contract issues with Spike tv and it was off for a month or so. I wonder if the contract is again up and the two sides are bickering again. Maybe Velocity is bidding for it?

Anyone know anything?

Normal for them to not show on a holiday weekend.

I've been watching all it's different iterations for the last several months (yr or more ?) on NBCSN (I think that's the channel)

Thanksgiving weekend messed up all your regular programming.

i dvr it on CBSsn every saturday morning.. they always say the episodes are new in the programming guide, but they are usually repeats with only the Courtney Hansen fillers being "new". honestly, it's pretty annoying..

Courtney said on carolla's Carcast a little while back that she's leaving Powernation. I wonder who they'll get to replace her.

I always thought powernation was a step backwards for Courtney. She was great in the early days with Chip Foose. Seemed smart and knew a thing or to about cars. On power nation she was nothing more than the proverbial TV show hood ornament.

She really does know cars and has a legit heritage. Her dad was 27 time SCCA champion Jerry Hansen, who also owned Brainerd Raceway. She grew up traveling the SCCA circuit and playing at the family race track. She isn't some dumb blond, but I think she's been forced to sell that image to cash a check now.
