Since the schooling thread seems to be getting a little divisive, I thought I'd add one with a story we can all agree on: Dad took son on hooker search
This guy's not good at the dad thing, right?
...right?
Margie

Reminds me of a photo I saw the other day on another forum:
Edit: Unfortunately it's an attached image so I can't post it here.
Hmmm, where to start on this.
Well, my father never really had "the talk" with me, so I had next to no idea what to expect. Maybe this father figured it would be easier to show Jr. than to try to explain it? Just kidding.
Here in Memphis, they are having a lot of trouble with hookers and so the police decided to hit the "Johns" where it hurts. If you got caught soliciting a prostitute, you got your car taken away from you. One guy had his 18 wheeler confiscated.
Finally, parent or not, kid in car or not, I am a guy and I find it pathetic that another guy goes on vacation with his wife...and while on that vacation, goes looking for a hooker. If I was that wife, I'd let him rot in jail, unless she needed his income to pay the bills.

Jeez. My dad never did that for me.
JUST KIDDING, MARGIE!!!!
what leaves deeper scars, learning that money = p*ssy or watching your dad berkeley?
edit: i added the asterisk because y'all don't have a substitute for p*ssy. i mean a substitute word. if there was a substitute for the real thing, the world would end in one generation....

gay men think they've found the substitute.
Well, a good Dad teaches him how to shop for cars, clothes and food, why would you not want the boy to be a clever consumer at all aspects of life's little purchases.
Sorry Margie, I just have to be Devil's Advocate once in a while.
Wonder how Mom feels about this.
If you're going to teach a kid how to pick up a hooker, at least teach him:
How to pick up a classy one. $40 seems a bit low rent; and
How not to get busted in the process.
I'm a little bothered that he's being held without bail. I suppose he's a little bit of a flight risk, being from out of state, but I'd still think some level of bail is appropriate.
Maybe it's protective custody to keep his wife from getting ahold of him.
Jeez-thats way different than when I had sex ed. When we took it they spent the entire time showing us pictures of sexually transmitted diseases. This kid gets to spend his time..............................actually I guess it's not that different.

Particularly since she sold them both ways for $40. Jeez, even the Spruill Ave. types over here get more than that. 'If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.'
Not that I have any personal experience...
he asked if she's a cop and she said no. what other question(s) should he have asked to get to the point that they couldn't arrest him? or does that path not even exist?
I'm going to agree with the folks that argue that $40 tail is going to be a bad experience all around. Want to expose your child to crack ho's? apparently this guy does.
But here's a good lesson for you.
If your $40 ho dosen't look like this.
then it's probably the fuzz
