I know there are a few photo buffs on here so I hope you might be able to help.

I'm one of these stick-in-the-muds that still use film, usually B&W which I develop at home and E-6 transparency film which I don't.

Can anybody recommend a pro (not a consumer) lab that does do E-6 processing by mail order? My experience with consumer labs are a little variable to say the least so I'd really like to use a pro lab.

Burrell Colour Imaging in Indiana does very nice work and they ship quickly.

I used to use Miller's Lab but it appears they stopped doing E-6. I've heard good things about Burrell as GPS mentioned but never used them personally. The last time I shot slide film I used B&H film mailers and they came back good. The good thing about slide film is it's pretty hard for a processor to screw up like they can with C-41.

It's been years, but I always had great service sending my 4x5 sheet film to Flair http://www.showprints.com/slide-processing.html

I have heard great things about North Coast Photo services link For my own E-6, I just drop it in the mail-away bin at Wal-mart or Sam's club. Then, if I want prints or scans, I take them to a local lab with a Noritsu or Fuji Mini-lab.

For C-41, I highly recommend Miller's (now MPix). Free film mailers, $4.00 or so processing, and excellent quality prints all done online.

I've also heard good things about WHCC.
