Hiking earlier today. That's the most ice I've seen on the Hudson in a fair few years.

Had a wild turkey do as much $ damage last year, but it was a lot more visible!
Super cool old vise spotted on a site walk this morning. The phone camera likes to fisheye things, but that swivel base had to be 10" around.
I've been going through my old pics. Here’s Annie and me at the FIA headquarters in Paris a few years ago. I’d like to say we were there to represent the USA in an important meeting concerning international racing, but we were merely tourists. The headquarters is a hop, skip, and jump from Place de la Concorde, bottom of the the Champs-Élysées, where the infamous guillotine was and where many heads rolled during the French Revolution. We could feel the unmitigated pomposity emanating forth by just standing near the front door ... which was locked.
