You may have heard about the prediction that redheads will be extinct by the end of this century.
That the claim came from a study paid for by the hair-dying industry tends to tarnish its credibility, but the overall point is still worth pondering. Endangered species are not just confined to bog turtles and snail darters.
Redheads, the theory goes, will eventually be overcome by an invasion of dominant dark genes. The implied lesson is that, if we're not careful, we could all fall into a simmering stew pot, where the beef becomes indistinguishable from the carrots and potatoes. Still edible, but boring.

They said the same thing about blondes.
We're still here.
I have Brown, red, blond, and black hair on my head and face naturally. How is beyond me
eventually we will all be asiatic... statistics alone say that
Red hair is Gods warning...

I'd better grab a redhead before they go extinct.
I'll start my collection soon.
Unfortunately, I'll have to be careful messing with the prettiest of them all, don't wanna ruin the nicest example.
Ok, I'm creepy. (I really like redheads)
ginger kids have no souls...
i think wally is a murderer.
No, he's not.
Murderers all have people who knew them say "He seemed so normal to me!"
No-one can say that about Wally, so he should be pretty safe.

Peppermint Patty says it ain't so.
My friend dates exclusively red heads, just his thing I guess. One day having a few beers I asked..... shouldn't have.
He claims nerve endings are closer to the surface on red heads, come like a freight train.
'K.
If you live long enough, if it doesn't fall out first, it all turns grey anyways.
Said the same about people with blue eyes. I still see kids born with them.

My Twins were.....One of them still has blue eyes.
I was born blue eyed and turned light green.
I’m responsible for producing a blue eye’d model with a start date of Feb 2004 and a completion date of Oct 2004.
We still have Lesley, and that is all that matters.
If I could date nothing but redheads I'd be in heaven, but I'm not that good at dating. I tend to get the brunettes...

In the genetic toss-up that happens when you cross a blonde with a redhead, we've thus far managed one redhead and one blonde. Mini-me and mini-her. My luck, they'll both marry girls from Thailand or something and we'll wind up with reliably taupe-colored grandchildren.
I dispute this presumption. When I was in high school, there were like two true red heads in a school of 1500 kids. Now they are all over the place. Trouble is, how many are true red heads.
