I wept like only a 10 year old boy can at the demise of those 911s in Condorman during that car chase

I remember trying and trying to do the wrist tap to any girl in school. I was very disappointed when I realized it didn't work.

That movie is on semi- permanent rotation on cable. Why haven't I watched it yet?

As much as I enjoyed the movie, I'd hate to see a remake or sequel.

He's 65. I watched "The Right Stuff" last night. Probably won't be a sequel to that one...

Anybody who likes the Remo Williams movie should definitely without fail pick up the first dozen or so books in the Destroyer series, written by Warren Murphy and Richard Sapir. They are the books the movie is based upon and they are utterly hilarious. Although Joel Gray did an excellent job as Chiun, the byplay is even funnier in the books.

Any of them are good, but the original dozen or so (before Sapir's untimely death) are the best ones. They're not long and only take an hour or two to read.

As a bonus, most used book stores have a stack of them for <$1 each.

Finally, someone else who has seen, or will admit to seeing, Remo Williams.

As the title IMPLIES, this was once going to be considered as the first in a series of movies. My guess is that lowish box office numbers and highish salary numbers from Joel Grey killed that idea.

Favorite parts of the movie? when Chun first meets the Remo Williams character and Remo tears up a room trying to get CLOSE ENOUGH to even make contact with Chun. Also, towards the end, when Remo has to kill a guy, make it look like an accident, has no weapons, and finally hits on the idea of assasinating the guy with a flaming twig (sorry, you really have to see the movie to see how that happens).

Wow, flashback time! I loved those movies, great finds on the TV on a rainy weekend afternoon. Weren't they going to make a TV show based on that at some point?

The Porsches in Condorman were the shiznit and of course Remo Williams and his Sense were actually funny compared to all of the poor attempts at copies made since then (Daniel and Miagi, etc) The only pair that might get close would be Booger and his Master in Revenge of the Nerds 2 (yes I can't believe I brought that movie up either, but admit it, you've watched it)

Speaking of way back, anyone remember "Hawk" the Spencer for Hire spinoff? Awesomeness is Boston's version of Shaft driving an all white BMW 7-series with severely tinted windows, BBS wheels with the wheels just tucked into the fenders oh so slightly. The fact that he later became Benjamin Cisco on DS9 was the only reason to watch that show.

I liked Remo Williams. I've seen it a few times, but not for a while. I guess The Adventure Ended there with the first movie.

Careful thought has been put into your name selection (or something like that.)
