When I saw the initial picture and the huge hood scoop, I was expecting another 'merican V8 conversion... instead I was pleasantly surprised...

Not something I'd spend that kind of money on, but it's neat somebody built it.

Fastest I have ever driven was in a stock one of those. That car didn't even begin to make sense until you were north of 85 mph.

I dunno if I'm feeling the hood scoop, but the concept is really interesting. Rear wheels could deal with more dish and width and less offset, too.
Scoring a Countach engine couldn't have been easy.
Pretty impressive car.
Did the scoop really have to be THAT big?

The scoop is pretty foul looking on this. If it fit the lines of the car, and were half the size, it would be cool. As is, it just looks like someone took scoop from a funny car and grafted it on.
Gross car, gross scoop, love the engine swap. LOL To each his own I guess. Wonderful workmanship and execution, just not my bag baby.

Don't get me wrong--I love the oddball Lambos (and oddball Ferraris for that matter).

Looking at the engine pic, it would appear so. The base of the air filter is about at the stock hood level.
Wow, that hood is awful. It's the Italian Supercar equivalent to this:
PUKE!!!
Great swap, but yeah the hood needs a re-do. Maybe a different air filter set up?

The hood does look terrible from the front, less so from the side.

That would be worth all kinds of heroics, effort, creativity and fabrication to get rid of that scoop and have a hood that flows with the car.

I think it would be neat to come up with some sort of shaker hood.

Less scoop...more wheel.
I do like the concept though.
I'm just fascinated that somebody loved their Espada enough to do this. It gives me hope for the future.
Blech. I like the camaro better.
Is that Jay Leno in the Canadian Tuxedo in one of the pics?
