Lots of greats gone this year. He was a prominent force in the cup series for a long time.
He and Davey Allison can team up again.
Saw one of his engines (and Ernie Irvan) win the first cup race I ever went to, Sears Point 1994.
Met him and Davey back in 1992 at Talladega. What a great figure for the sport and I have always been a fan since that meeting.
For a few years the RYR 28 Ford was the car to be in. It turned almost everyone into a championship contender.
Cancer sucks.
