They put on an amazing live show. I have seen them double-digit times and its always great.
Saw a pretty badass rockumentary on Paladia about them - had some great dialogue with Geddy, Niel, and the other guy 
as well as some music peeps like Billy Corgan, Gene Simmons, and Kirk Hammett...was a lot of fun to watch, and listen to
The Philly show went on sale a couple weeks ago. Snagged a pair on pre-sale.
New album goes on sale June 12th.
The rockmentary 4Cyl Fury is talking about is Beyond The Lighted Stage. Yea it's pretty good.
I'm still pissed he called that girl a slut......and he hasn't been as entertaining since he got off the pills anyhow........

I saw something on them. It said there was one album ( 2112? ) that had such complex songs that they could only perform the songs during that tour.
I'm determined to see them this time around. I've been putting off seeing them for years, and they are getting up there in age. I did the same thing with Ronnie James Dio, and now he's not around to go and see him.

One man's "complex" is another's E36 M3ty lyrics. Maybe they couldn't play them anywhere else except that tou because you have to be high, in a closet with a black light and some glow in the dark E36 M3 to listen to it.

Baaaarf!!! Every one of their songs is exactly the same. I have to turn of the radio whenever Rush comes on.

And here I didn't think anyone on this list liked Rush Limbaugh.
I saw the all the worlds a stage tour at Maple leaf gardens when I was 15, then saw them again in 81. A few years ago they had an anniversary show of some sort in Toronto, so I took my wife, kids and few of their friends. None of us are really Rush fans, but we all enjoyed the show.
Saw them with Primus in the 90's. It was a good show, but I've always felt they lost their edge after Moving Pictures.

You probably should listen to some early REM stuff... then you can make up your own lyrics...
Seen them twice. Always a fantastic show. Up there with Story of the Year in showmanship. Always liked those kinds of concerts.

I really think that happens to just about everyone, though. I still recall an interview I read (can't recall where) with Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders) a few years back. She said that when she was young, the music was important, but nowadays it was just like having a really cool hobby.
If that doesn't explain the difference between "Precious" and "I'll Stand by You", nothing does.

Never used illegal drugs in my life. Got searched at the Rush concert.
One of the downsides to giving up drugs is discovering that Rush aren't as good as you thought they were.

I'm still trying to figure out if "queue" (a line, or the list of shows you haven't watched yet on hulu) instead of "cue" (a signal to do something) has a hidden meaning. And what that meaning would be...
