I really dig that ramcharger....
speaking of ramchargers....mexican ramchargers ftw
I like the parts bin sharing dodge caravan rear hatch.
I bought this when some doctor's wife turned it in after a lease, LOVED this car!
I put 150k on it and don't remember any major mechanical issues. For some reason the Hispanic crowd around Queens and the Bronx get major lumber over these. Who knew?

My two diesel Suburbans are the only SUVs I've ever owned. The white '87 was my first, and has since been sold to another GRMer, Cooter.
The red '94 is my current towing and hauling beast:
This was the only SUV I've ever owned.
EDIT:(Not old school) There is an old abandoned looking Travelall sitting off the side of a road that I pass occasionally. I am always a bit intrigued.
Also, I see an older suburban that only has three doors. No rear door on drivers side. I've only seen it in traffic a few times, but it is cool.

Looks like someone drove a caravan into the bed of a ram. I'd still drive it.
My first Range Rover, bought for $800 and taken offroad a lot:
and my second, that had all the offroad goodness of the first, with all the comfort of the LWB upgrades:
My third Rangie, pictured in black there, is too new to be old school, though.
I've had a couple of binders, the bronco, a jeep TJ, and a grand wagoneer. The bronco was best off road, wagoneer for cushy Christmas tree hauling and the scout II as a solid all around ute. TJ was very good off road. The bronco was extremely good off road.
not mine and not super old school... but on the way home today I saw a 3rd gen Dodge Ramcharger... had mexico tags on it... it took me a min but when I looked at the badge... full size dodge ram base turned into a 2 dr SUV just like the old ramchargers had been
When I was 16, I lusted after my aunt's 1987 JX Samurai. SPOA kit, 2 inch body lift and 33" ATs. I learned that short wheel base vehicles like to swap ends on ice with it. No pics unfortunately
My 1986 Bronco II I owned right after high school:
I learned that engines can function with most of the oil on the outside and that you really can get "nose-blind" to the smell of burning oil; courtesy of the hateful 2.9L Cologne V6
Not old enough to be "old school" but uses old school technology (and has heritage ):
Every day I drive past a 70's CJ5 that looks like it hasn't moved in 15 years. I like older Jeeps but I need other project like I need a hole in the head haha
