Definitely the wife, she's obviously one of a kind.
Congrats you did good

How bout you tell us your wife's first name so we can immortalize awesome moves like this after her, just like what's now an "Amy"
Every day is a good day, this one is even more amazing then most. I'm a lucky lucky man. I promise photos are coming. I've been getting driven around, I think she may end up driving it more then me, which I'm okay with. I can report back that it will happily slide in a controlled fashion on stock rubber and alignment. It's a responsive eager little puppy, with more grunt then my BP NA had. The wife has mastered stick shift, funny how quickly that happened now that there's a manual car that she really likes available to drive
As for how fun it must be to drive. It had 47 miles on it this morning and it now is approaching 300 miles. From the passenger seat I really can't think of anything that screams out for improvement via aftermarket. suspension is always something i'd consider but the playful nature and balance is damn close to perfect. I'd have to drive any setup before i'd consider changing over from stock. It's that good, and I haven't even been able to drive it yet, which will be the longest 2-8 weeks ever.

So she bought you a car you can't drive for 2-8 weeks? She is awesome and evil and the same time.
You are a lucky man. Congrats.
There are times in life when we must control our impulses and make the wise choice, and there are times when it is good to splurge. This is one of those times. Congrats man and I hope you can enjoy that thing for years to come!
Awesome story! Congrats!
It's also possible she has "learned" you well enough she didn't need Hive assistance.
Awesome. CaR and wife, congrats. And if somehow you happened to end up driving in an abandoned parking lot, no one has to know.
That is freakin' FANTASTIC. I won't tell the docs if you sneak out for a snort... what they don't know won't hurt them.
