"Back in my country, my president," Mustaine begins and then pretends to gag himself with his finger, "is trying to pass a gun ban so he's staging all of these murders. The 'Fast and Furious' thing down at the border. And Aurora, Colorado, all the people that were killed there. And now, the beautiful people at the Sikh temple."
Mustaine went on to say, "I don't know where I'm going to live if America keeps going the way it's going because it looks like it's turning into Nazi America."
Just like the pied piper
led rats thru the streets
we dance like marionettes
swaying to the symphony
swaying to the symphony of destruction
Wow, someone has a belief in a conspiracy. Truly astounding.

Well, now that we can directly see the derelict moon buggies thru a telescope they need to get back to their roots.
Whoa, the crazy is strong with this one.
People who are suprised by that statement have never listened to MegaDeth. All of his stuff through the 80s was filled with post-apocalyptic nuclear fallout, gov't conspiracy type stuff.
I will now listen to ...Peace Sells, But Who's Buying?
Hello me... Meet the real me
And my misfit's way of life
A dark black past is my
Most valued possession
Hindsight is always 20-20
Looking back it's still a bit fuzzy
Speak of mutually assured destruction?
Nice story... Tell it to Reader's Digest!
Feeling paranoid
True enemy or false friend?
Anxiety's attacking me, and
My air is getting thin

Yep. He wrote his best stuff when he was drunk, angry and pissed off. Now he's not drunk anymore so he can concentrate more on being angry and pissed off.
I don't know who Dave Mustaine is or why I should listen to him.
But why does Joe Biden get a pass on all the crap he spews out?
In reply to spitfirebill:
Joe Biden is more of a run of the mill rich guy idiot than a mentally unstable conspiracy theorist.

Him saying Republicans trying to put African Americans in shackles isn't a conspiracy theory?
In reply to spitfirebill:
I give. Enjoy your flounder.

Really? I didn't know that but it would be cool to see. Off to Google.

yeah, IIRC, MegaDeth = 1 million deaths by nuclear warfare.
Yeah, I saw that item about Dave, too. We saw Megadeth back in '92 or '93--awesome, awesome show. From what I remember from his Behind the Music, yeah, those were some exciting times for Dave. Personally, I'd say that Into the Lungs of Hell is his best work. Sad that paranoia has gotten the best of him. (Currently listening to the new Testament album--great thrash metal, no craziness.)

It rocks. We saw them twice on the current tour and look forward to seeing them again. I'd put them up there with Maiden and Death Angel for "aging gracefully."

Unfortunately, being a great artist often seems to go hand-in-hand with being unstable, prone to addiction, etc.
And I should add that I believe that Dave is free to voice his personal feelings about the president. Don't like him or his policies? That's cool. Not everyone in metal leans the same way, and that's cool. Voicing conspiracy theories involving the president? Hmmm, that might be a little over the line.
Mustaine is also a good guitarist. I know he's been fond of the whole conspiracy gig, I mean look at his albums.

Do I really need to bring up the lefts infatuation with Bush?

Craptastic! Doesn't appear their newest album is on there as of yet.
Wow! Conspiracy theorist are so ridiculous. To believe that Obama had any knowledge of any of those events is ridiculous. Even The Fast and Furious thing, I doubt he knew about that. I am certainly no Obama fan, but I am not going to throw him under a bus because of everything that happens. Thats like a CEO of a company knowing the price of the floor cleaner the janitor is putting in his mop bucket. Now Eric Holder on the other hand...
Pfft, conspiracy theories. http://people.howstuffworks.com/conspiracy-theory.htm
Dave's been crazy for some time now & honestly he just needs to use his voice for singing. Anything this fool says makes him come across like a complete ass or pisses off many people.
