I don't like today.
Yesterday my ex wife gave me a text message that my cat was likely going to have to be put down. He's been around and Gibson's best friend since gibson was born. Testing revealed kidney failure. Charlie aka cat butt met his maker this morning. He wasn't with me because I couldn't take him where I was going, and he was gibsons best friend.
Then, same ex texts me (sensitive that she is) aND tells me a good friend of mine was just posted up on facetubes and confirmed to have basically all the stage 4 cancer. He's one of them most dedicated family people I know, but still. I'm about done with her.

I got a bunch of really nice furniture for free, it is being delivered on Saturday.
Most of the cities in the US are not rioting today.

I seem to have everlasting salivation...
I'm having homemade enchiladas and pico-de-gallo tonight!
Did you know that pico de gallo means "beak of rooster?" Has nothing to do with tomatoes, onions, peppers, cilantro, etc. Some believe it's called that because of the little chopped up pieces of it are similar to chicken feed. Others claim it was originally consumed by picking at it with your fingers like a chicken (rooster) would with his beak. Regardless of its etymology, it's delicious!
So good news for you, you now (hopefully) have something to add to the TIL thread.

I saved a bunch of money on car insurance today
The toad that lives under my porch seems to have a girlfriend. Or boyfriend. I'm not really equipped to tell, but he's been a loner for years and all of a sudden I go outside at night and there are two of these big burger patty size toads hanging out.
My porch toad found love.

Goddamn man, you just can't win. Though you've been looking for a new project.....
I survived a week long motorcycle trip to VA and surround areas.
Those speed limits are dares down there.
Raleigh, NC has gasoline again, kind of. There is 87 and E85 at many stations, still no 93 to be found.
Your Ex sounds like a piece of work.
I hear a certain US manufacturer (okay maybe US/Italian manufacturer) is moving along nicely in it's development of a rwd compact hatch and sedan.

You have no idea. The many heads of the hydra did not show themselves until much later.
I'm already working 10hr/wk overtime and starting next Saturday we get to work an extra 8hr for the foreseeable future.....I would say "Yay more money", but I'm pretty sure I'll end up with an extra $12 biweekly due to tax brackets.
The good news is, I get killer health insurance and climate controlled factory floor....still worth it.
I scored a bunch of high end car audio at the swap meet today for 20.
Scored 2 aluminum race seats for 40.
Long tubes for 15
All the rod ends for the suspension for 65, including jam nuts and threaded tube.
Gave away girl scout cookies.
Burnt the piss outta my ears.
And got to make my buddy laugh so hard he fell into a stack of dirt track tires by telling him that since he was just separated, not divorced, he should go date a stripper that also works at waffle house and a street corner cause she was bound to be less crazy and doped up than his soon to be ex.
My baby is phenomenal and very cuddly. She is hilarious too!
Also, I am going to Laguna seca to race for 4 says in like 2 months. Plus I'm going to Disneyland and Harry potter world while I'm there!
How about the fact that the two bombs that didn't go off in NYC were found or disabled by thieves. The pressure cooker was tossed into a garbage bag on the sidewalk so two dudes could steal the luggage it was hidden in and they broke it dumping it out. The other was called in to 911 when two homeless guys stole the backpack from it's hiding place and got scared E36 M3less when they found 5 pipe bombs and a timer in it. How awesome is that E36 M3?

Disney is my jam. I go to magic kingdom all the time (perks of swmbo being a cast member) but I haven't been to the mother park in a couple decades. She's never been. I need to get back out there for some matterhorn action.

NYC bums are some bad motherberkeleyers. I'd want them on my side before most of nypd....
For those of us that still enjoy tv, new shows are back! I don't care I enjoy a dumb sitcom in the evening.
I basically assaulted a huge bald faced hornet's nest, got away with only two stings, and am apparently still not allergic to them.
