Kind of off subject, but along the same lines: I thought Steevie Ray Vaughn's "Texas Flood" was a guy making up excuses about why his wife wasnt picking up the phone when deep down he knew she was cheating (I mean Texas is a desert in the movies, how could it possibly flood???) and then I moved there and realized it does actually flood in Texas.
