So, for my birthday my girlfriend got me tickets to go see Star Wars in Concert in Cleveland. I am totally thrilled with the whole idea-- I love Star Wars -- and the fact that that my girlfriend is going with me. The thing is, I really want to dress up for it, but don't want to break the bank with a replica costume. I was thinking Han and Leia, maybe Return of the Jedi or something, but she's prolly not gonna go for the whole metal gold bikini thing...

So, what are some easy, low budget costume ideas for Star Wars in Concert in Cleveland in December...ya...def not this...for the concert at least ;)

I, on the other hand, looked quite happy when she was in that outfit.

Carrie had lots of body issues during that time period so yeah she hated the outfits and having to show off her "fat" body. Welcome to Hollywood.

I think the film "postcards from the edge" was based on Carrie's autobiography of the same name.

Yep it is, sorta

Well, it is a slave girl outfit. Usually accessorized with a big drooling slug attached to a chain.

If that's her "fat" body, I really don't want to see her skinny body.

Mmm... at 5 I still thought girls were gross. But later on, the slave girl bikini held a special place in my heart.

Get a couple of karate Ghis (sp?), tuck the pants into your boots. Instant luke skywalker.

Dress up like the Rebel commandos on Endor. Grey undershirt with a camo jumpsuit.

Jeez, sometimes I just feel old. I drove to the theatre to see "Star Wars". And I took a date. By the time "Return" came out, I had my first BMW.

I can't recall who mentioned "Fanboys", but that scene in the hospital where Carrie's playing the doctor was priceless. Great film.
