I design street circuits when I'm bored so I'll be posting some here everyday
Reminds me of a good autosport thread that's documenting track maps of all forms and all times. Some great content there along with modern street views of how some are today.

I seem to remember one of the Gran Turismo games having a feature to upload tracks built from GPS tracking? Idk, never tried.
A local one I've though about for years:
there's about 150' in elevation change, mostly between that roundabout and the NW corner. According to Google, it's 2.7 miles around. Massive.
We had our own Columbus 500 back in 1985, ran until 1988 I think. It would have almost been visible from where I sit at my desk right now.

Wait, this isn't an active circuit? From the way people drive it, who knew?

The active circuit is through downtown.
The interstate loop around Charlotte has a healthy following of racers too. I have seen this sticker on a few cars and know a few folks that like to make a lap from time to time.
You can still see pieces of the 2002 Denver circuit in the parking lot for the Pepsi Center (aka Denver Nuggets) stadium, specifically around turn 5 and the straight to turn 6.
The 1990/91 races were right downtown, with the start/finish line literally at the base of the steps of the state capitol, running past City Hall, the Mint, police HQ, the courthouse, the main library and the art museum. Probably the densest, busiest part of town. That must have been nuts.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
I was working the 2002 race in Denver. I still have one of our high altitude radiators from that year.
Minneapolis had a Trans-Am street race from 1996 to 1998. There's a map of the circuit here: https://www.motorsportmagazine.com/database/circuits/minneapolis-street/ It appears their website also has maps available for many other race circuits old and new.

Have you seen the Milwaukee roundabout on YouTube? There's some great crash vids from it.
Edit: Here you go!

That's more of a hill climb :) Not a lot of overall elevation gain, though...
