I find I'm way more likely to get headaches when I don't caffeinate. Unfortunately, caffeine is the last thing someone with energy levels as erratic as mine needs. I spike and crash just fine without any stimulants, thank you very much.

If I really need it, I drink 5 hour energy or a similar "energy shot" type thing. I do love my colas though. Pepsi Throwback especially.

I drink red bull to help with either all nighters for school or in the shop. Nothing like 4 all nighters in 6 days and operating machinery. Thank god for energy drinks. In a two week, the team I was working with drank 24 Monsters and 48 5 Hour energies plus an assortment of Red Bull and Pimpjuice.

I had the same reaction to a TNTea but never to a red bull

Opening the blood vessels up, in and of itself, helps a migraine. I've had one since Tuesday. It was tolerable when I was at work, but yesterday it turned into a drill-holes-in-my-skull-to-let-the-demons-out bad. With blindness and skull numbness and left side numbness and the works. (ref. "reasons to not have children" for other thread - these are genetically related) I hate the thought of drinking that syrupy sickly crap, but if it might help them go away....

Maybe you should go nuclear on the situation and wash down a couple a viagra with a cocktail of every energy drink you can find....

I COMMAND YOU BLOOD VESSELS, OPEN!

Energy drinks I can do just fine. I don't drink them much any more. However 5 hour energy makes me twitchy and I feel like I'm going through detox.

Not in my case. I've had chronic migraines since I was like 7. They've cleared up a lot since I got older, but stress and junk food can take it's toll if I'm not careful.

Can I have a pancreas when your team dies?

Caffeine withdrawal headaches are just headaches.

Migraines are something else entirely, and they aren't even painful sometimes. For instance, most of this morning, I wasn't in any pain, but I could only see off-and-on. You know what it's like to have double vision? Picture the exact opposite - instead of the brain failing to eliminate the extraneous data, it eliminates ALL of it...

The fun part is, that taking caffeine to eliminate migraines can lead to a caffeine headache if you stop.

I wish. Tumors can be removed, or at least kill you decently quickly.

Aldis sells a pretty decent red bull clone for like $.50 a can, and a monster clone for under a dollar. I love Aldi.
