the Problem with being a LEO.. is that they are the most visible extension of the government. Most people could probably walk right by their congressman, governor, or even local Mayor and not recognize them.. but in a Uniform, the Police Officer becomes the embodiment of the government and it's laws.
As such, there is no room to be anything -but- professional
I'm glad MRAPs aren't prohibited. I don't know about your neighborhood, but Northern Illinois has a real big problem with IEDs.
