Mtn I had what was probably a very similar experience back in high school 2001-ish I was 16 or 17. I was driving with 3 friends in the family 1992 Honda civic sedan going from Glenview into Chicago for a concert late afternoon.
Driving westbound on Lake St Took the Lake/Euclid ramp onto I94 East I'm sure you know the one. It was this time of year and it was a rainy day. I was taking it easy because wet out and full car. We were half way down the ramp no acceleration or deceleration just smoothly driving 15-20mph when whoop! Back end lost traction suddenly and fast enough I didn't even have a chance to try and catch it. Both feet in and we did a tight perfect 180 ended up perfectly centered in the middle of the ramp. I'm guessing the combination of cheapo tires, possibly oil and very smooth pavement all contributed to it.

Sounds similar. Here is what I was talking about--normally, people on this board would think it is fun. It really is not, at all--this is a major trucking route and you're always about to get run over.
