I wondered how long it would take them to make this. Looks like they may have actually pulled this one off.

Pretty sure the theater will be fairly dusty.

Good night!  I listened to this on cd, I don't know if I could get through it in a movie.

I hope they did a good job with it.

I'll have to see it by myself in case I totally break down.  I was cool with how Endgame ended, not so much this movie!

I don't love that they changed Enzo to be a golden.

(Says the guy w/ a half golden as his profile pic)

I really liked the book way back when it came out. Seems like this movie has been in the works for a long time. Glad to see it is finally going to happen.

I have been waiting for this movie to come out ever since I heard Dempsy got the rights to it.  I sould try reading it again, maybe.

Yup, this has been in the works for well over a decade now.  I even got the spousal unit to read it so I have high hopes.

Tetley was my Enzo, she assigned to be my service dog after suffering a compound fib/tib spiral fracture with achielles rupture and 11 accompanying breaks in my left foot in August 2000. In 2002, after 6 surgeries and thousands of hours of OT, PT and AT, when I became able to walk without crutches, she was allowed to retire. She'd lean into corners and sit strapped in a rallycross car during shakedown. She read people brilliantly, the young, the elderly, dog lovers and those anxious around dogs and provided each of them with the perfect amount of interaction. She, ironically, suffered the nearly canine equivalent injury as mine,  in 2004, to her left front leg, a spiral fracture. She made a full recovery in 4 months. She passed this past August, living an exceptional long life for a Golden/lab mix, her last 24 hours were rough, I wasn't able to pull the trigger as she had suffered a stroke 3 years prior and endured suffering that would've had most sane owners opting to end the suffering of their best friend. I stubbornly and selfishly hoped that she would have the stubbornness and strength to bounce back again, but it wasn't to be. The guilt doesn't stem from the inevitable, but due to the fact that I wasn't there for her final moments, the fact that I, knowing her condition, went to work, and that she left this life likely scared, with only my other dog present, probably telling herself that I'd be home soon to make it better or at least to comfort her. She was a dog that was far better than I deserved.
