Since bacon seems to fit into most members' lives somewhere just behind automobiles and just ahead of their significant others, I thought a thread might be appropriate.
What's the best brand of bacon?
Creative uses for bacon?
Bacon anecdotes?
Personally, I don't eat a lot of bacon because as a high fat, high sodium food, I consider it to be only slightly less toxic than arsenic. But I know that bacon gets a lot of love on this board, and I'm sure I'll learn something.
I like bacon from out local butcher, and will be putting a bacon explosion on the table in a few days
I don't think that I could recommend a specific brand, and I really don't do the edible bacon sculptures...but the best bacon that I've had was when my mom made biscuits for breakfast with bacon and fried potatos and gravy.
A homemade biscuit with bacon and tomato is arguably the best breakfast ever.
Sadly, my Lovely Wife does not enjoy bacon...so we haven't had it here for a long time.
My friends and I made this bacon explosion for the Super Bowl. We used 1 pound of thick-cut peppered bacon, 1 pound of spicy deer sausage (from an 8-point buck my friend shot in his yard), and a half pound of mozzarella. It was awesome.

Bacon is never over, it's what's for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
when I buy ground beef I like to fry up a pound of bacon then crumble it up and mix it into the patties .. makes pretty good burgers later
BLT Poppers:
Cook bacon, dry and mince.
Chop parsley, and a hint of red onion or scallion.
Add mayonaise, salt and pepper.
Remove the top of cherry tomatoes and scoop out the guts with a small melon baller.
Fill the tomatoes with the stuff.
Chill.
Devour.

Hipster girls are very pretty.....it is a shame that nothing they want to discuss is something I would find useful or interesting. I really don't care about the latest band/designer/artist, and don't want to waste time pretending otherwise.

Have you tried just trapping one? These have been poping up around the city the past couple weeks
I have not tried this yet. A friend took six strips of crisp bacon, crumbled them up and mixed them into chocolate chip cookie dough. he said that the cookies are great, his kids ask him to make them regularly

I don't think hurting one of those pretty little ankles is a good way to start a meaninful relationship.
