I hate commercials at least as much as the next guy, but there are a few gems out there. Here's one of my fav's from my childhood.

Notice that the Mr. Microphone sold for $14.98 in the late 70's / early 80's...that'd be around $30.00 today. Say what you will about Wallyworld / China / etc. but some stuff has gotten a lot cheaper as a result.
Like it says wait for number 1 There was some weird E36 M3 that came out in the 80's.

Most commercials are pure crap, but there are some that are art in motion. Think Budweiser Clyesdale Super Bowl stuff. Pure gold.
Yeah, most are stupid and insulting. But that Detroit Zoo commercial is the best thing to come out of Detroit since the 40's, well, except Kwame.

Does anyone remeber the insurance commercial from the 80's where there was a male receptionist at a desk answering phones and dealing with a bunch of people and he was getting the lines all mixed up? There was a line in there that went "communicable diseases on 4th", that line cracks me up and I would love to find the commercial.

I can not say that the Detroit Zoo is the best commercial ever but it does take me back. It seems to me that commercial would have been playing on Channel 50 in the afternoon during, Bill Kennedy at the Movies.
