I've been furloughed 3 weeks. Today I got a text from my boss, saying "Call me please." Give him a ring and he tells me that they are bumping up from 3 techs to 7 techs and I'm one of the 4 coming back. Even better, we're either getting paid our flat rate pay or 40 hours at our pay rate, whichever is higher, which is a generous deal.
My company has committed to not lay off anyone including those that can't work from home. They've also expedited the review process by 6 months this year to get raises in our hands and money into the economy.
I just got back from California and I am on a mandatory, paid, quarantine with a few days left.
Today I got a call from a buddy at work, we have been talking about 24hrs of Lemons for a few years. Well he just bought a '98 VW Beetle for $100. Another guy at work has a $0 receipt for a 20xx VW diesel. First buddy has a 25gal fuel cell with a $0 receipt...
I have stuff.

We're hoping for October in CT, but we are all fine with 2021 if need be.
