Personally, as someone footing the bill for back to school clothes right now - I wish they all had to wear the same uniform. I hate uniforms (I fight authority, authority always wins....) but "business casual" would cover it. 5 collared shirts and kakis. Done.

The school I went to lacked metal detectors and such, and being in a rural area.....there were probably more knives in the school than people to complain about them. This was only a decade ago mind you....
