Pretty. I'm trying to convince my wife that her DSG Alltrack needs a DAZA swap.
We are getting another dog in February. The Ridgeline was already a bit cramped with 4 humans and 1 dog. No way a 2nd dog would fit. SWMBO will probably never let me replace her Ridgeline so I was looking for a cheap Tahoe/Expedition/Armada etc. Unfortunately, everything I was finding was rusty or 200k+ miles or some other combination of completely used up. This 2008 Taurus X popped up on marketplace last week in surprisingly good condition so I bought it. I was never a huge fan of these but it's grown on me quite a bit in the last week.

We had a 2008 Taurus X AWD wagon for a few years immediately post-babies. I loved that thing. Sure it's a big American car, but it's got Volvo S80 DNA and it handles like it. It was far tighter and better handling than any American truck like thing I'd had before. It got reasonable gas mileage and was decently powerful. As it aged, it broke a spring in the rear at an inopportune time (right before a road trip with the kids) and in investigating it I found it had some rust forming underneath. In a fit of frustration I bought a Grand Caravan and took the road trip in that. I ended up fixing the Taurus X and selling it on, but have missed it and the AWD from time to time. The Grand Caravan has been good to us and is definitely roomier, but the Taurus was more satisfying to drive. All that to say: I think you'll like it!!
