A great artist has passed away. RIP. He made the world a delightfully weirder place.

Best hair in the biz
I really enjoyed his Covid lockdown weather reports. A true artist. He will be missed.
Don't smoke folks.
Saw that today. Being a teenager in the 90's his work really opened my eyes to what the medium could be. For being so far off center it's amazing in retrospect that his work got as much circulation as it did. I love that he was famous for never explaining anything. I'd rather have fun thinking about it than get spoon-fed.
I didn't really start diving into his work until recently (I know, shame on me), and I just love how weird it all is–made even better, in my eyes, by how normal of a guy Lynch was.
I'll second that he had the best hair in the biz. I know what I'll be doing this weekend:

People have been trying to figure out that movie from day one. I'm not sure anyone actually has.

Heineken?!?!?!?
So how many times did Dennis Hopper drop the F bomb in that movie?
I missed Twin Peaks when it originally aired. I watched it a few years ago. I liked the first season or two. And then it went all David Lynch. I'm glad he has his fans, but I'm not one of them. Too much magic mushroom influence.
In reply to ddavidv :
Actually, the first season or two were all David Lynch.
Anything after that was the network's attempt to milk a popular cash cow for everything it could. Twin Peaks was originally only ever intended to be one season, with option for a second.
