I'm convinced that the folks at GRM put a 911 on the back of the new shirts just because they thought that I would order one. But the joke's on them...I bought two.

That it was built from duct tape and bailing wire some time in the late 1990s and the poor devils who have to maintain/enhance it wish they could scrap the whole thing and use XenForo.
I secretly believe the denizens of this forum could make this thread go on and on for a long time. Refer to the ignore thread or the hotlink thread or.....you get the point.
It's probably my teenage mentality..but I secretly believe that a programmer at google is a forum member and designed chrome mobile to display the URL show up with the "http://gr" cut off the front of the URL as a joke just for this forum.

What is seen can't be unseen... Thanks for that lol
This is my favorite thread on here in a good while.
I believe that if you have a vehicle with more than 2 rotors (dorito type), more than 4 wheels, or has panels made from fabric you will automatically exempt from all budget requirements.
Anyone remember that 8 wheeled rx7 thing that was openly stated would be budget exempt.
I believe I have found where I belong... When ever I have an idea most people I know respond with "you wanna do what?!" Or "will that even bolt up?"
However here I get "OMG, DO IT NOW!!!"
I also believe that this site is a conspiracy to lower my productivity with every new thread.

Come to the GRM Chgllenge. You will feel like you just met 100 of your clones.
I was watching Roadkill last night and my wife said "Roadkill is like Top Gear if you and the GRM guys were doing it."

Your wife is brilliant. Forget that Roadkill vs Ass Monkey Garage BS, I want to see Roadkill come to the Challenge.

I'd love to see this, too, especially if they stick to the budget.

I agree on all counts. I've had the thought more than once that building a car in budget and then driving it to the challenge from CA seems right in line with their vision.
I believe that any automotive project, no matter how questionable, will have at least one proponent. We are eternal, optimistic, enablers.

Right up until they find a spare hell cat lump and lenco just laying around.....but yes. Those guys and mcm have a standing invite as far as i'm concerned.
I believe that "grass", "roots", and "forums" might very well be the only three things in California that aren't known to cause cancer in lab rats
If ROADKILL came with an unlimited budget .... they would still not finish in the top 3.
We should actually invite them to come with an unlimited budget just to see how they stack up. They'll never get Andy in the Drags.

Unlimited budget just means they could bring the F-Bomb camaro. It might not autocross well but its 1/4 mile time beats the challenge record i seen posted.

That wouldn't put it in the top 3.
Andrew Nelson has run deep 10's, and could likely do better (he plays to win, not destroy his car). He's even brought a car with nitrous on board but never pulled the trigger- he didn't need it.
But the Challenge scoring would be the killer.
The F-Bomb runs the 1/4 in 8 seconds. Nelson runs it in 10, but his cars can turn. He placed 3rd in the autox last year, but was only 0.7 behind me. He beat most of the 11 and 12 second cars by over 3 seconds on the autox.
The F-bomb is too over powered for the autocross. Nelson would beat him by at least 3 or 4 seconds, which would overtake the 2 second spread on the drags.
Plus, if the F-bomb had an unlimited budget, it would loose Concors points.
I think spin_out is right- with an unlimited budget, Roadkill would not place top 3.
