Fellow GRM member Scott (known here as pigeon) has passed away. Details I have are that he was on a trip to London with his family and became quite ill. His plane home was actually rerouted in order to get him to a hospital more quickly, but I believe he died within 24 hours of reaching the US shore.
Scott was very helpful and a genuinely nice guy. My heart goes out for his family, as this was certainly unexpected. Scott was 42.
Wow.....that's so sudden. ECM, if you are in contact with his family please let him know how fond of him we are. He will be missed.
Thanks for letting us know. This is very sad. I just re-read his post on the "What do you do, and how did you end up there?" thread since I remembered him posting there and he does sound like a great guy. Sail on, Scott.
What the heck kinda thing gets you that quick?
Seemed like a good dude, helping people who need help.
Damn. I never got to meet him. There are so many GRMers I feel like I know - thoughts and prayers for Scott's family.
Wow 42.
This link should take you back to all the postings of Scott (pigeon)

Sad news indeed. ECM, if you are in contact with his family please pass on my sincerest condolences.
I only knew of him through the forum, but he seemed like a genuinely good, helpful guy. Thanks for spending your time with us Scott, wherever you are.
